Purpose/Scope:

Assists Supervisor in coordinating activities of employees and accomplishing requirements per company, customer, and USDA guidelines. Helps to ensure that all policies, procedures, and guidelines are followed while producing a quality, cost effective product in a safe and timely manner.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Assists in training and direction to ensure employees meet requirements and job function according to company, state, and federal guidelines. Assists in ensuring product and processing meets required standards and guidelines of customer, federal and state guidelines. Assists in ensuring that goals are met daily and help improve morale in department. Completes required written and/or electronic reports. Reports machine and equipment malfunction to maintenance personnel. Ensures department (inside and outside), and production area is neat, clean, and safe for operations. Ensures that all employees use required PPE and follow all safety guidelines of the Company. Performs other duties as assigned
