Team Member - Cashier

Overview We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Cashier to join our team in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for customer service and a solid understanding of food service operations. As a Cashier, you will be responsible for providing excellent service to our customers while efficiently handling transactions and maintaining a clean and organized workspace. Responsibilities Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently using the POS system. Provide exceptional customer service by greeting customers, answering questions, and assisting with their needs. Handle cash transactions with precision, ensuring proper cash handling procedures are followed. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the cashier area and throughout the establishment. Upsell menu items to enhance the customer experience and increase sales. Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during peak hours. Perform basic math calculations for cash handling and retail math tasks. Support bussing duties as necessary to maintain a clean dining area. Skills Strong customer service skills with a friendly demeanor. Experience in food preparation and knowledge of food handling regulations. Familiarity with POS systems is preferred. Excellent time management skills to handle busy periods effectively. Ability to upsell products and enhance the overall customer experience. Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and transaction processing.
