What we are looking for: We are looking for a full-time team member to work for our sister company, Antojitos de tu País, at our store located in Fairfax, Virginia. The team member is responsible for daily store operations, manages all operations related with the POS system in the store, arranges product displays and assists customers in order to maximize sales. Additionally, the team member is responsible for transactions related to our e-commerce site and by-phone sales. The team member would work the following schedule: Monday 9am-5pm Wednesday 9am-5pm Friday 9am-5pm Saturday 8am-4:30pm Sunday 8am-4:30pm Aside from your hourly pay, you will be paid cash and credit card tips. You are also entitled to a free meal during every shift. A little more information about Antojitos de tu País: Antojitos de tu Pais - Little Cravings was launched by two native Venezuelans with the idea of bringing traditional Venezuelan goods to the homes of those who yearn a little bit from home. We focus on the distribution of Venezuelan products such as cheeses, packaged foods, authentic drinks, condiments, flours, and candies. Additionally, we sell Arepa Zone's menu items for take-out at this location. Antojitos has a mini-market in Fairfax, and it also serves customers all over the United States through our e-commerce store. Additionally, we serve wholesale customers and latin supermarkets in the area. Reports To Kitchen Manager Activities & Responsibilities Assist customers in store, online and by phone providing friendly, informative, and timely service in order to maximize sales. Operate Square POS and process payments. Maintain the store and product displays clean and organized. Arrange deliveries, from preparing packages to managing shipping. Complete all necessary paperwork associated with merchandise. Maintain inventory of merchandise, restock shelves. Aid in the packaging process of e-commerce packages. Provide miscellaneous support to managers and other team members when required. Job Requirements Candidates must be proficient in English and Spanish. Experience as retail associate / store clerk desired. General knowledge of Microsoft Office. Ability to perform basic math. Positive, people oriented and problem-solving attitude desired. Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time. Must be able to lift 15 lb. above the head periodically during the working day.
