Responsibilities Prepare and assemble food items according to established recipes and quality standards, ensuring freshness and presentation. Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS accurately for order processing, sales transactions, and cash handling. Deliver excellent customer service by greeting guests warmly, taking orders efficiently, and addressing inquiries with enthusiasm. Upsell menu items and promote specials to enhance sales opportunities while maintaining a positive attitude. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards by regularly cleaning workstations, dining areas, and adhering to food safety protocols. Assist with food handling duties including bussing tables, restocking supplies, and supporting kitchen operations as needed. Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure quick service delivery without compromising quality or safety. Qualifications Previous experience in food service, quick service & fast food restaurants, or retail environments is preferred but not required; enthusiasm and willingness to learn are key! Familiarity with POS systems such as Toast. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and positively with guests. Basic math skills for cash handling, register operations, and retail math calculations. Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures. Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail.
