Job Description

This role sits at the forefront of innovation, supporting New Business Opportunities (NBO) through technical accounting expertise. You will play a critical role in evaluating complex revenue models, enabling new product launches, and ensuring accounting compliance for emerging offerings. This position blends deep technical accounting knowledge with cross-functional collaboration and operational execution. You'll partner closely with Product, Go-To-Market (GTM), Legal, FP&A, and Engineering teams to shape accounting outcomes, influence product design, and drive scalable processes in a fast-paced, high-growth environment. W2 hourly rate: $80-95/hr DOE + Apply ASC 606 principles to assess contracts, bundled arrangements, and new product offerings + Identify performance obligations and determine appropriate revenue recognition timing + Evaluate complex and non-standard revenue arrangements using the 5-step revenue recognition framework + Prepare and support well-documented accounting conclusions and memos + Partner cross-functionally with GTM, Legal, FP&A, and Engineering to evaluate accounting implications for new products + Translate accounting conclusions into operational workflows, system requirements, and scalable processes + Support the execution of the product pipeline by ensuring accounting readiness for launches + Support month-end and quarter-end close activities, including preparation/review of journal entries and reconciliations + Address non-standard revenue scenarios and resolve accounting issues impacting close + Contribute to accounting integration efforts related to mergers and acquisitions + Collaborate across a wide range of stakeholders to gather inputs, align on decisions, and drive outcomes + Navigate ambiguity in evolving business models and proactively identify risks, gaps, and dependencies + Support prioritization, tracking, and execution of multiple product and accounting initiatives + Coordinate stakeholders across functions to ensure progress against key milestones + Develop and maintain clear, structured documentation including desktop procedures, process flows, and accounting memos + Strong foundation in technical accounting, with deep expertise in ASC 606 revenue recognition + Proven ability to analyze complex arrangements and translate accounting guidance into practical business solutions + Experience partnering with cross-functional stakeholders (e. . , Product, Legal, FP&A, Engineering) to influence outcomes + Demonstrated ability to operate effectively in ambiguous, fast-paced environments + Strong project and program management skills, with the ability to manage multiple concurrent priorities + Excellent problem-solving, critical thinking, and communication skills + Detail-oriented mindset with a commitment to high-quality documentation and audit-ready workpapers + Experience supporting close processes, including journal entries and reconciliations + Familiarity with new product introduction (NPI), SaaS/Cloud business models, and/or M&A integration is a plus + Tech / SaaS industry experience + An inspirational place for you to do your best work, be engaged in meaningful ways, and continually develop the skills, competencies and qualities that set our team apart. + Compensation commensurate with your qualifications, experience, and other factors including geographic location, market and operational factors. + Total Rewards include: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, Disability Insurance, 401(k) Savings Plan, Employee Stock Purchase Plan, Professional Development Program, Paid Time Off and Paid Sick Time (in geographies where legally required).
