Hours:
40.0 4, 10 hour days (Monday - Thursday) with some 10 day shifts. Responsibilities Provide field oversight for monitoring well installation programs, foundation investigations, contamination assessments, geologic site characterizations, or related projects. Perform soil and rock logging; prepare professional logs for soil, rock, and monitoring well construction data. Install water monitoring and water quality equipment and manage data output. Manage drilling and related contractors in accordance with company guidelines and procedures. Interface with various customers and collaborate with Geologist and Land Group peers to facilitate field investigations. Travel extensively, primarily throughout the southeastern United States, including Georgia, Alabama, and Mississippi. Requirements 5+ years of experience in a related field Accredited Bachelor's Degree in Geology preferred; Geological Engineering accepted Experience in executing field investigations using various drilling methods and resources Proficient in soil and rock logging, monitoring well construction, groundwater monitoring, and field data reporting Knowledge of environmental sampling and testing methods Understanding of federal, state, and local regulatory requirements Working knowledge of gINT BoreDM Boring Log Program Flexible computer skills; proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint Ability to work independently and communicate effectively in oral and written forms Safety-first mindset with customer focus and conflict resolution skills System One, and its subsidiaries including Joulé and Mountain Ltd., are leaders in delivering outsourced services and workforce solutions across North America.
