We support construction and infrastructure professionals with roadway safety products, energy absorption systems, and materials used in the repair, rehabilitation, and preservation of highways, bridges, tunnels, airports, and other transportation assets. We're looking for someone who is hungry, dependable, eager to learn, and ready to take initiative in a role that may not be glamorous every day, but can be highly rewarding for the right person. In this in-office role, you'll help manage the sales and rental process from inquiry to fulfillment, support customers with technical product guidance, coordinate with internal teams and manufacturers, and help keep equipment availability, delivery, and return processes running smoothly. We can train the right person on the sales side. What matters most is that you bring initiative, strong follow-through, a willingness to learn, and the drive to tackle important work that keeps the business moving. What You'll Do
- Support customers by reviewing project plans and specifications to identify requirements and recommend the right products or equipment.
- Respond to client inquiries, resolve concerns, and provide clear technical product information based on project applications.
- Prepare bid quotes by reviewing contract site plans and specifications.
- Manage sales and rental inquiries by phone, email, and in person.
- Coordinate with the sales team on equipment availability, pricing, and terms for purchases or rentals.
- Prepare and process rental and sales orders accurately and efficiently.
- Work with manufacturers' engineering teams to address customer requirements and obtain shop drawings for submittals and approvals.
- Partner with operations to coordinate timely delivery and pickup of equipment.
- Inspect returned rental units for damage.
- Stay current on industry trends, equipment specifications, and pricing to guide customer recommendations.
- Participate in sales meetings, training sessions, and industry events.
- Assist with inventory counting and tagging, and help coordinate product assembly and shipments with warehouse personnel. What We're Looking For
- A strong work ethic, sense of urgency, and the motivation to take ownership of your responsibilities.
- A willingness to learn and be trained, especially in technical products, project requirements, and the sales and rental process.
- Initiative, follow-through, and the ability to stay organized while managing multiple priorities.
- Strong communication skills and a customer-focused mindset.
- Comfort working across teams, including sales, operations, warehouse staff, and manufacturers.
- Ability to read and interpret project plans, specifications, and bid-related documents, or the aptitude to learn quickly.
- Experience in customer support, coordination, construction-related work, inside operations, or a similar fast-paced environment is helpful, but not required.
- Familiarity with business systems and order-tracking tools is a plus.
