Jefferson Community College, Watertown, New York, part of the State University of New York (SUNY) System, is conducting a search for a part-time Technical Special - Enrollment Services. Reporting to the Director of Admissions, the part-time Technical Specialist provides support to all areas of Enrollment Services as needed, including Admissions, Advising, Student Records, Student Accounts and Financial Aid. This role is a direct customer-service based position and may involve a non-traditional work schedule including evening and weekend work assignments. The Enrollment Services Specialist will work closely with the College's leadership to advance the mission of the current Strategic Plan.Requirements:
Required:
Associate's degree and valid driver's license. Applicants must interact and communicate effectively with diverse populations, foster inclusion, and promote equal access and treatment for groups traditionally under-represented in higher education.Preferred:
Experience in a college support position, preferably in the field of admissions, advising, financial aid, student support programs or student records. Demonstrated excellence in communication skills, technology skills and a commitment to providing excellent customer service. Ability and willingness to work in a team environment.Additional Information:
