Technology Specialist Location:
Heber, UT Status:
Full-Time Hours:
Monday - Friday; 7:30 a.m. - 3:30 p.m. Some flexibility is negotiable. Occasional nights and weekends as needed.
Pay/Salary:
$50,100 annually Summary The Technology Specialist provides support to college by maintaining and managing end users accounts, workstations, devices and software applications.

What You'll Do:
Responsibilities of the Technology Specialist include, but are not limited to: Manage and maintain user accounts, workstations, devices, and software applications.

Oversee and maintain classroom computer labs, ensuring they are organized and up-to-date.

Address user needs and questions related to devices, networks, and various software programs.

Ensure computer hardware is current and coordinate with the department to recommend and discuss necessary upgrades.

Possess a solid understanding of both Windows and macOS operating systems.

Manage and maintain endpoint antivirus and security applications.

Demonstrate self-motivation in completing tasks and resolving issues.

Exhibit strong diagnostic, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.

Communicate effectively, both in writing and verbally.

Possess general mathematical and language proficiency.

Collaborate effectively as a team player, working well with colleagues inside and outside the Technology Department.

Provide on-site technical support, including urgent response to outages, classroom interruptions, and time-sensitive service requests.

Meet required on-site response times for critical issues (e.g., ability to arrive on campus withing 30 minutes when on call).

A high school diploma with a minimum of two (2) years' experience in a technical support position.
