As an Actuary at VigorCare, you will play a crucial role in helping us make informed decisions and manage risk in the ever-changing landscape of pediatric healthcare.
Responsibilities:
Analyze and evaluate data to determine the financial impact of potential risks and make recommendations for risk management strategies Develop and maintain actuarial models to forecast and monitor financial performance Collaborate with other departments to provide actuarial support for pricing, product development, and financial planning Conduct research and stay up-to-date on industry trends and regulations Communicate complex actuarial concepts and findings to non-technical stakeholders Continuously improve actuarial processes and procedures to increase efficiency and accuracy
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field ASA or FSA designation from the Society of Actuaries Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Proficient in actuarial software and programming languages such as Excel, SAS, and R Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
