Join our team as we help shape the future. This position is part of the Financial Lines Reserving team supporting a diverse portfolio of specialty coverages, including Directors & Officers, Errors & Omissions, Employment Practices Liability, Cyber, and Fidelity/Crime. Financial Lines offers a unique opportunity to develop expertise in complex products, emerging risks, and evolving claim trends. In this role, you will partner closely with Claims and Pricing to monitor portfolio performance, evaluate reserve adequacy, and provide insights that inform business decisions. Successful candidates are intellectually curious, enjoy learning complex subject matter, and are motivated by solving challenging problems. The role offers the opportunity to build deep expertise, apply actuarial judgment, influence reserve decisions, and translate complex analyses into meaningful business insights. As systems and processes continue to evolve, there will also be opportunities to help shape how the work gets done through enhancements to tools, monitoring, and actuarial processes. Please note, candidates pursuing exams as well as those not pursuing exams will be considered for this role. This role can be part of our Actuarial Student Program for an individual meeting requirements for entry into the program.
  • Responsibilities + Complete reserve studies and advise management on reserve decisions, including providing insight into key drivers of change.
+ Develop and maintain monitoring tools such as actual loss vs expectation and reserving diagnostics. + Partner closely with Claims to develop insights and inform reserve decisions. + Analyze portfolio performance, emerging claim trends, and significant loss activity to inform reserve decisions and business strategy. + Drive improvements in data quality, portfolio monitoring, and actuarial processes through innovative solutions, effective controls, governance, and ongoing process enhancements. Experience & Skills + Bachelor's degree required. + Near to recent ACAS preferred.
