Job location : 2167B South China Place, Chicago, IL 60616 Job title : Actuarial Product Analyst Job duties : Apply actuarial and quantitative methods to evaluate insurance applicants' risk characteristics and assess overall risk profiles. Analyze carrier underwriting guidelines, pricing frameworks, and eligibility criteria to determine appropriate market placement options. Evaluate expected loss costs and premium adequacy to support accurate and compliant insurance submissions. Prepare and submit complete case files to insurance carriers in accordance with actuarial assumptions, underwriting guidelines, and regulatory requirements. Collaborate with underwriters to review case details, resolve inconsistencies, and ensure accurate risk classification. Apply actuarial concepts such as risk segmentation, credibility theory, and loss distribution analysis to support decision-making in complex cases. Communicate proposal details to clients when necessary, explaining financial and risk implications in clear and professional terms.
