2965757033-2 Apply for this job now Job Description DW Simpson seeks a Senior Actuary to lead complex actuarial projects for insurance and risk-focused clients. In this remote role, you will design and validate models, support pricing and reserving, perform experience studies, and translate data-driven insights into clear recommendations. You'll collaborate closely with internal teams and external stakeholders, mentor junior staff, and help shape client strategy. Responsibilities Lead and execute complex actuarial pricing, reserving, and risk analysis projects Design, build, and validate actuarial and predictive models Conduct experience studies and scenario analyses to support client decision-making Develop clear, data-driven recommendations and present findings to non-technical stakeholders Collaborate with cross-functional internal teams and external clients to define project scope and deliverables Ensure compliance with relevant actuarial standards, regulatory requirements, and reporting guidelines Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior actuarial staff Contribute to continuous improvement of modeling tools, methods, and best practices Support business development efforts through analytical insights and subject-matter expertise Required Skills Actuarial modeling Loss reserving Pricing analysis Predictive analytics Experience with R/Python/SASExcel/VBARisk management Regulatory and financial reporting knowledge Data analysis and visualization Communication of technical results to non-technical stakeholders
