The full salary range for this position is designed to provide employees with the opportunity to progress and grow within their positions and reflects the competitive market value for these positions across the national market. GBLI, also offers a total compensation plan including bonuses for all positions. Typical annualized starting salary range for this position: $170,000 to $240,000 This range reflects base salary only and is not inclusive of bonus potential and other compensation considerations as it relates to the role Essential Duties & Functions Own the pricing framework and philosophy across all Primary lines of business Establish pricing governance, documentation, and change‑control frameworks Monitor rate adequacy, loss ratios, and pricing performance by: Product, Segment, Geography; Identify emerging trends and underperforming segments, Recommend remedial actions (rate changes, underwriting adjustments, exits). Risk Adjusted Return on Capital Analysis including stochastics results. Oversee BI reports that report on Profitability and use and development and data strategy. Lead the development and maintenance of Pricing Models including use of advanced analytics via Data Science where appropriate. Evaluate and provide guidance on various pricing software's (including use of AI where applicable) and efficacy of implementation. Oversee pricing on new program/product opportunities, using information provided and various actuarial and statistical methodologies Partner closely with: Underwriting, Finance, Reinsurance and Marketing on Pricing items. : Act as a trusted advisor to senior leadership on pricing implications Manage Rate Filings for admitted products including strategies and objections Coordinating with IT to ensure products are implemented in their entirety People Management for the pricing function Qualifications Bachelor's degree with actuarial science, mathematics, or statistics concentration. ACAS required, FCAS Preferred 10+ or more years of prior property & casualty actuarial experience in commercial pricing 2+ years leadership experience Proficiency in Microsoft Office Products (Word, Excel, etc.) a must Programming experience a plus (e.g. SQL, R, Python) Experience with Microsoft's Power BI or comparable software a plus Experience with industry Pricing Software's and system implementations a plus Practical experience with implementing advanced analytics in Pricing situations a plus Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Ability to work in a team environment while showing self-initiative
