This is a hybrid position reporting to the Madison, WI headquarters and individuals are expected to work in the office several days a month. The Actuarial Analyst III is responsible for helping to develop and implement solutions by analyzing data, determining the requirements of a project or program, and communicating with stakeholders and partners. The tasks for this position include: conducting independent analysis and applying actuarial techniques to project future product performance, visualizing the performance of products by measuring actual vs expected financial results, identifying and proposing alternative analytical approaches, participating in the business planning process by setting forecasted loss ratios, as well as executing projects in support of pricing and reserving for insurance lines of business. Job Requirements Bachelor's degree in actuarial science The individual must have 24 months of actuarial experience. As part of that 24 months of actuarial experience, the individual must have: 24 months of work experience in a property and casualty insurance setting 24 months of experience using SQL, VBA, and ResQ 24 months of experience with insurance rate filings to state departments of insurance 24 months of experience developing pricing rate indications and presenting results to non-actuarial stakeholders 24 months of experience setting reserves for property and casualty lines of business Successful completion of three actuarial exams. Base Salary Range:
$87,800.00
