Scion Staffing has been engaged to conduct a search for a Senior Actuarial Analyst for a respected and mission-driven organization. This is a remote opportunity, with periodic travel throughout the year.
POSITION OVERVIEW
The Senior Actuarial Analyst will support critical actuarial initiatives across reserving, pricing, forecasting, and financial modeling functions. This role will leverage advanced analytics and actuarial methodologies to deliver insights that support strategic decision-making and organizational performance. The ideal candidate brings strong property and casualty insurance experience, actuarial modeling expertise, and a collaborative approach to solving complex business challenges.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Perform actuarial analyses related to loss reserving, pricing, forecasting, and financial performance
Develop, maintain, and enhance actuarial models, reporting tools, and analytical frameworks
Analyze claims, financial, and operational data to identify trends and support business recommendations
Present findings and actionable insights to leadership and business stakeholders
Support process improvements, model validation efforts, and ongoing actuarial research
QUALIFICATIONS
Experience in actuarial analysis within the property and casualty insurance industry
Background supporting reserving, pricing, forecasting, financial modeling, or related actuarial functions
Progress toward actuarial credentials through the Casualty Actuarial Society (CAS) preferred
Strong analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data
Proficiency with actuarial modeling tools, data analysis software, and advanced spreadsheet applications
COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS
Salary range of $130,000 - $150,000 depending on experience, qualifications, and actuarial exam progression
