Analyst, Insurance/Reinsurance Crestline Investors - 3.8 Fort Worth, TX Job Details Full-time 1 day ago Qualifications Bachelor's degree Cross-functional collaboration Cross-functional communication Excel data analysis Full Job Description Crestline Investors is seeking a highly motivated Analyst to join the Insurance and Reinsurance investment team within CL Life. This role will support the insurance and reinsurance investment platform by assisting with transaction execution, portfolio analysis, and the ongoing oversight of reinsurance investments. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and an interest in insurance, reinsurance, and alternative investment strategies within a collaborative and fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Supports the execution and administration of investments in the insurance portfolio, including data preparation, analysis, and documentation. Assists in the evaluation of new investment opportunities, including working with credit ratings providers and interfacing with the investment origination teams. Prepares financial and operational reports related to investment portfolios and related performance metrics. Collaborates with actuarial, finance, and legal teams to assess transaction terms and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements. Monitors the performance and reporting obligations of existing investments. Conducts research and analysis to support product development, pricing assumptions, and risk-management strategies.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Mathematics, Actuarial Science, Risk Management, or a related field. 2-3 years of relevant experience in insurance, reinsurance, financial services, asset management, or related operational and analytical roles. Exposure to life insurance, reinsurance structures, or alternative asset strategies is preferred. Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with proficiency in Excel and financial or actuarial modeling. Ability to analyze large datasets and synthesize findings into actionable insights and reporting. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across cross-functional teams. Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment.
