Job Description

Actuarial Analyst - Insurance (Pricing & Reserving) Job Summary We are seeking a Actuarial Analyst to support pricing, reserving, and financial analysis for our insurance products. This role partners closely with Finance, Risk, and Accounting to deliver data-driven insights that influence business decisions and ensure accurate financial reporting. Responsibilities Actuarial & Analytics Analyze and support pricing and reserve calculations for auto insurance products Partner with Risk, Finance, and Accounting to ensure accurate loss provisions Extract and analyze data to improve underwriting, pricing, and forecasting Monitor actual results vs. forecasts and identify key trends and drivers Support IFRS 17 reporting and financial analysis Assist with audit processes and collaborate with external auditors Enhance and automate data processes, reporting, and model outputs Underwriting Support Assist in developing and refining underwriting guidelines Collaborate cross-functionally to support product structure and risk selection Ensure compliance with internal standards and regulatory requirements Collaboration Partner with senior actuaries and business leaders on key initiatives Contribute to process improvements that increase efficiency and accuracy Qualifications Experience 7+ years of actuarial or related experience 3+ years in an analytics role within financial services Insurance experience required; auto insurance preferred Risk management experience is a plus Education Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field (e.g., Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Data Science) Master's degree preferred Skills Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities Ability to communicate complex concepts to non-technical stakeholders Advanced Excel and strong SQL skills required Python or SAS experience preferred Preferred FCAS designation or progress toward certification Experience working with external auditors
