Job Description

Genesis10 is currently seeking a Release Train Engineer for a hybrid position (3 days per week) with a Global Financial Institution located in Charlotte, NC, Plano, TX and Pennington, NJ. This is a 12+ month contract opportunity.

This role is responsible for optimizing the flow of epics/features and the value delivered by a smaller Agile Release Train (ART), and is focused on serving the needs of the train to drive performance and growth. The Release Train Engineer works at the program level, supporting all teams on the Agile Release Train and relevant stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

Coordinate and facilitate ART ceremonies

Manage dependencies across teams in the ART

Provide visibility into the health of epic/feature delivery and the overall program increment

Ensure impediments to epic/feature delivery are resolved quickly

Protect teams from outside disruptions to delivery

Manage financials for the ART and assist with resource planning

Promote and coach the Agile mindset and principles, empowering individual teams to be self-managing

Requirements:
  • Experience as a Release Train Engineer (RTE) or in a similar capacity
  • Experience with Agile tools such as Jira
  • Background as an Agile Scrum Master
  • Experience as an Agile Coach
Desired skills:

Bachelor's degree in a technical field

Pay range: $74.51 - $82.51 per hour
