Full Job Description Overview:
The Director, RCM Reporting & Analytics provides enterprise-wide strategic and operational leadership for the Revenue Cycle Management reporting and analytics function across UF Health, including entity reporting coordination, contract management support, vendor management, and the audit PMO. This position is responsible for leading the revenue cycle team that designs, develops, and delivers actionable data insights to drive performance improvement across all revenue cycle domains, including patient access, coding, billing, collections, and denials management. The Director oversees a team of analysts, report writers, and developers, fostering a culture of data-driven decision-making and continuous improvement. This role serves as a key partner to a cross-functional group of senior RCM, Finance, Managed Care, and Compliance leadership, translating complex data into clear, concise, and meaningful intelligence that supports organizational goals.
Qualifications:
Education Bachelor's degree in health informatics, Business Analytics, Computer Science, Health Administration, or a related field required. Master's degree (MHA, MBA, MS in Data Analytics or related field) preferred. Experience Minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in healthcare data analytics, with at least 1-2 years in a leadership or management role within a revenue cycle environment. License/Certification/Registration Epic certification in one or more revenue cycle reporting modules (Clarity, Cogito) strongly preferred. Microsoft Power BI certification a plus. Other Qualifications Demonstrated, hands-on experience working with Epic revenue cycle modules and reporting tools (Clarity, Cogito/Slicer Dicer, Reporting Workbench) is required. Proven experience integrating non-Epic data sources into analytics workflows, including third-party billing systems, clearinghouses, and payer data feeds using Azure, Snowflake, or similar cloud data platforms. Advanced proficiency in Power BI for dashboard development and data visualization; experience with DAX, Power Query, and data modeling required. Experience with data modeling, data warehouse design and relational database querying in support of analytics development required. Demonstrated experience managing teams of analysts, developers, and/or report writers in a healthcare setting. Strong knowledge of revenue cycle workflows, metrics, and performance benchmarks across the full patient financial services lifecycle.
