Job Description

We are looking for a Business Intelligence (BI) Manager to guide the development of a modern enterprise analytics environment for a contract opportunity with permanent potential based in West Des Moines, Iowa. In this role, you will shape data strategy, strengthen governance practices, and expand reporting capabilities that help leaders make informed decisions across the organization. The position focuses on building scalable analytics solutions, connecting data from multiple business platforms, and leading a team that turns complex information into practical business insight.
Responsibilities:
  • Create and carry out a long-range BI and analytics roadmap that supports organizational priorities and future technology direction.
  • Direct the advancement of enterprise reporting and analytics platforms, including cloud-based data environments and legacy BI systems, to improve scalability and usability.
  • Establish strong data governance, quality controls, and master data practices so reporting remains reliable and consistent across business functions.
  • Lead the design and delivery of dashboards, KPI frameworks, self-service reporting tools, and advanced analytics capabilities such as predictive insights and anomaly monitoring.
  • Oversee the BI technology ecosystem, including platform integrations, system performance, and connectivity with ERP applications, cloud services, databases, and external data sources.
  • Collaborate with executives, business partners, architects, and IT teams to prioritize initiatives and identify opportunities to improve operations through analytics.
  • Guide organizational adoption of modern analytics practices by driving communication, stakeholder alignment, and change management efforts.
  • Build and mentor a high-performing BI team by setting clear expectations, encouraging skill development, and promoting accountability and innovation.
  • Manage budgets, vendor relationships, delivery metrics, and operational performance to ensure stable, cost-effective analytics services.
  • Support enterprise data modernization efforts, including transitions from traditional SAP BW environments to newer SAP data and analytics platforms when applicable.
