at Southern Illinois University (Carbondale) in Carbondale , Illinois, United States Job Description The College of Business and Analytics invites those with potential for excellence in administration, research, and teaching in the field of Business Analytics to submit an application for consideration as Director of the Pontikes Center For Advanced Analytics and Artificial Intelligence (https://afe.siu.edu/analytics/pontikes.php) as well as an Associate/Full Professor in the Business Analytics program. This position is a continuing, tenured, 9-month appointment to start August 11, 2026. The Pontikes Center promotes research in the business applications of AI and Data Analytics, recommends updates to COBA's curriculum based on evolving business practices, and facilitates connections for students to gain internships and employment. By serving as a hub for COBA's other organizations such as the Center for Supply Chain Management and Logistics, it orchestrates coherent strategies for COBA to leverage synergies within the college.
