Job Description
Experteer Overview In this role you translate data into actionable insights that inform member-focused decisions. You'll work with the Member Data Product Team within the Enterprise Data Office to deliver data capabilities across internal teams. You'll apply advanced analytics to medium-to-large scale problems and present findings to management. You will blend data engineering with visualization to empower evidence-based strategies that support USAA's mission.

- Apply advanced analytical techniques to solve medium-to-large scale business problems with strategic impact
- Develop and communicate insight-to-action recommendations to peers and management
- Create visualizations to clearly convey analysis findings to non-technical audiences
- Identify and gather relevant data sources; perform exploratory data analysis and data quality checks
- Integrate disparate data sources and apply data hygiene techniques
- Document assumptions, methodology, validation, and testing for peer reviews and compliance
- Stay updated on emerging technologies that affect analytical methodologies and solutions
- Deliver analyses in a way that supports decision-making and business strategy while managing risks and compliance Tasks
- Bachelor's degree in quantitative analytics or related field, or 4 years of related experience in statistics/mathematics/quantitative analytics
- 4 years of data/analytics or relevant industry experience (P&C, banking, finance) or advanced degree with 2 years in data/analytics
- Strong mathematical and statistical techniques for fact-based decision making
- Intermediate to advanced knowledge of data analysis tools, data visualization, and
SQL, SAS, BI
