What You'll Do:
As the Institutional Research Manager, you'll play a key role in helping the College make informed, data-driven decisions. Responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to: Leading the Institutional Research department by providing guidance, mentoring, and support to ensure efficient operations and a high-performing team. Overseeing the collection, management, and analysis of institutional data from student records, surveys, databases, and external sources while ensuring data accuracy, integrity, and compliance with applicable regulations. Developing and presenting reports, dashboards, data visualizations, and executive summaries that communicate key performance indicators and research findings to college leadership, faculty, and staff. Collaborating with departments across the College to support strategic planning, institutional effectiveness initiatives, accreditation requirements, and policy development through meaningful data analysis. Directing research projects related to enrollment, retention, graduation rates, student outcomes, and other institutional priorities while continuously improving research methodologies and reporting practices. Providing training and presentations to faculty, staff, and administrators on research findings, reporting tools, and best practices for using data to support decision-making. Monitoring emerging trends, technologies, and best practices in institutional research and higher education analytics to strengthen the College's research capabilities and continuous improvement efforts.
What We're Looking For:
Education Requirements:
A bachelor's degree in statistics, mathematics, social sciences, or a related field.
Experience:
At least two years of experience in data reporting, research, or analytics, along with demonstrated experience leading or supervising a team.
Technical Skills:
Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and data analysis and visualization tools such as SQL, Tableau, Power BI, R, Python, Qualtrics, or similar software. Experience utilizing databases and data management systems is required.
Analytical Skills:
Strong understanding of research methodologies, statistical analysis, data collection techniques, and the ability to translate complex data into actionable recommendations.
Leadership & Collaboration:
Proven ability to lead a team, collaborate across departments, build relationships with stakeholders, and effectively communicate research findings to both technical and non-technical audiences. Organization & Attention to
