Job Description

Job Overview NavLogic AI is building AI-native software for the logistics and supply chain industry. We are looking for an experienced AI Engineer to design, build, deploy, and operate production-grade AI systems that solve real-world logistics problems. This role will work across LLM applications, RAG, AI agents, computer vision, forecasting, and optimization. You will own the AI model lifecycle from data and evaluation through deployment, monitoring, and continuous improvement. Key Responsibilities Design, build, evaluate, and deploy production AI systems, including LLM applications, RAG, AI agents, computer vision, forecasting, and routing optimization. Make model and architecture decisions based on accuracy, latency, cost, reliability, and data requirements. Build evaluation pipelines, test datasets, and monitoring systems to measure model performance. Develop multi-step AI agent workflows that can plan, call tools, and recover from failures. Own model serving, inference performance, scalability, monitoring, and reliability. Work closely with Product and Engineering teams to turn AI capabilities into reliable customer-facing products. Evaluate new AI models, tools, and research and determine what is useful for real production applications. Required Qualifications 5+ years of experience building and shipping ML or AI systems in production. Strong Python skills. Deep experience with at least one of PyTorch, JAX, or TensorFlow. Hands-on experience with modern LLM technologies including prompting, RAG, fine-tuning, evaluations, and AI agents. Experience deploying and operating models in production, including serving, monitoring, and scaling. Experience building rigorous offline and online AI evaluation pipelines. Strong software engineering fundamentals including testing, CI/CD, code review, and system design. Comfortable working in a fast-moving early-stage startup environment. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Machine Learning, Statistics, or a related field, or equivalent demonstrated experience. Preferred Qualifications Master's or PhD in Machine Learning, Computer Science, Statistics, Operations Research, or a related field. Computer vision experience including object detection, segmentation, OCR, or video. Experience with time-series forecasting, vehicle routing, optimization, or operations research. Experience with vector databases and modern LLM evaluation and observability tools. Logistics, supply chain, freight, or industrial technology experience is a plus. Open-source contributions, published research, or a strong technical portfolio are a plus. What We Offer Competitive base salary, performance bonus, and equity.
