78328 AI/ML Co-Op Engineering Coop Skyworks Solutions is seeking an AI/ML Co-Op to join our enterprise AI/ML engineering team. This is a hands-on, full-time co-op role in which you will help design, build, and deploy machine learning solutions that support engineering and business teams across the company. Working alongside experienced engineers, you will take ownership of small projects end to end — from data gathering and analysis through prototyping, implementation, and documentation — while building practical experience with modern AI/ML tooling in a production environment. The position is intended for currently enrolled undergraduate or graduate students looking their coursework to real-world engineering problems. Primary Responsibilities As an AI/ML Coop, you will support engineering efforts for AI and machine learning initiatives spanning multiple business units. You'll lead small projects under the supervision of the enterprise AI/ML engineering team, collaborating with stakeholders from various departments.Your responsibilities will include:

- Developing code for core usecase functionality with guidance and gradually work independently
- Designing and implementing new procedures and workflows for AI/ML projects.
- Identifying bottlenecks and working with cross-functional teams to develop and deploy solutions.
- Assisting with documentation, reporting, and other project deliverables. This opportunity will allow you to sharpen your AI/ML skill sets, technical, and problem-solving skills in a dynamic business environment. - -Current Junior/Senior undergraduate or Graduate student studying Computer Science, Data Science, Electrical, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering for Co-Op in any of Skyworks office locations, preferably in Irvine, CA.
- Must be able to temporarily relocate to work full-time hours from Jan to June or May/June
- December 2027 at this location.
- Experience using programming languages (Python), and AI/ML frameworks like Pytorch and understanding of AI algorithms.
- Proficiency using VScode or other programming IDEs, ramp up learning curve on using code assists to complete tasks. Be able to quickly learn company-specific software (Agentic AI, LangChain, LangGraph, Genie, Databricks, PowerBI). If you have already graduated and are not currently enrolled in school, you are not eligible for this Coop position. The typical pay range for an Engineering intern across the U.S. is currently USD $26.00- $47.50 per hour and for a Non-Engineering intern across the U.S. is currently USD $22.50
