Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a highly skilled and innovative Senior AI/ML Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will lead the development and deployment of advanced artificial intelligence and machine learning solutions that drive impactful insights and automation across our organization. Your expertise will help shape the future of data-driven decision-making, leveraging cutting-edge frameworks and technologies to solve complex problems. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on large-scale projects, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and push the boundaries of AI innovation in a fast-paced environment. As Senior AI/ML Engineer, you will collaborate with a cross-functional data team comprising other AI/ML Engineers, DevSecOps engineers, Product Owners, Data Engineers, Data Analysts, and Data Scientists. Your primary responsibility will be to develop Machine Learning models that are integral to a larger pipeline delivering value to our end customers. Be a foundational leader shaping next-generation technology for mission-critical applications. 5 years of relevant hands-on experience Strong practical experience in Software Engineering Practical experience designing, training, and deploying Machine Learning models (PyTorch preferred) Experience with Kubernetes and Docker Pragmatic knowledge of various ML subfields, especially NLP. A passion for (and track record of) innovation, an interest in exploring and leveraging new data modalities, and working across interdisciplinary teams Experience building and maintaining machine learning pipelines Experience in using data processing frameworks Practical programming and scripting skills Fast learner, analytical thinker, creative, hands-on, strong communication skills Able to work both independently and as part of a team Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail Proven experience with modern software development and engineering practices including scrum/agile,
Git, and DevOps Clearance Requirements:
Ability to obtain and maintain a Top-Secret clearance Experience with ISR, Space Domain Awareness, counter-UAS, or space-based sensing. Background in edge computing, embedded AI, or real-time autonomous systems. Prior startup or high-growth company leadership experience. Familiarity with DoD acquisition pathways (SBIR/STTR, OTAs, FAR/DFARS). Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, AI, or related field.
Pay:
$171,000.00 - $272,000.00 per year
