AI Implementation Engineer

RESPONSIBILITIES

Kforce has a client that is seeking an AI Implementation Engineer in Coral Gables, FL.

What You Will Build:

• Production AI features on live client engagements - RAG pipelines, agentic workflows, voice agents, embedded AI tooling, and process automation
• End-to-end ownership: scope through deployment and iteration
• Direct collaboration with the Company's CEO and CTO on architecture and client delivery
• Claude Code as your primary development environment; Claude API as the default LLM stack

REQUIREMENTS

• 1+ years of building AI/LLM systems - shipped production work or substantial portfolio projects
• Hands-on with at least one major LLM API (Claude, OpenAI, or comparable); Willing to standardize on Claude
• Working knowledge of at least one: RAG, AI agents, voice AI, or LLM-driven automation
• Comfortable working autonomously in fast-moving, ambiguous engagements
• Modern dev hygiene: Git, version control, and code review

Strong Plus:

• Prior Claude API or Claude Code experience
• Voice AI platforms (Vapi, Retell, Twilio); Full-stack (Next.js, TypeScript); data infrastructure (Supabase, Postgres, vector DBs)
• Bilingual English/Spanish
• Healthcare, government, or other regulated-industry exposure The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role.

We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future. We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
