Senior AI Engineer - AWS Bedrock, Node/Typescript

Job Summary The Senior AI Engineer will support the development of enterprise AI platform capabilities focused on enabling secure, scalable, and reusable AI adoption across the organization. This role is responsible for building AI platform components, reusable frameworks, standardized templates, Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) solutions, evaluation practices, and governed AI foundations using AWS cloud technologies. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in AWS Bedrock, Node.js, TypeScript, Infrastructure as Code, and modern AI engineering practices, with experience developing scalable enterprise AI solutions and reusable platform services. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain enterprise AI platform capabilities and reusable AI components. Build scalable AI solutions using AWS Bedrock and cloud-native AWS services. Develop and maintain Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) patterns and AI orchestration workflows. Create reusable templates, frameworks, prompt standards, and evaluation practices for enterprise AI applications. Develop secure and scalable AI platform foundations with governance, guardrails, and operational best practices. Build reusable platform services and APIs for downstream engineering and business teams. Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions using AWS CDK and modern cloud automation practices. Collaborate with architecture, engineering, security, and product teams to support enterprise AI adoption initiatives. Support AI model integration, testing, monitoring, troubleshooting, and performance optimization. Contribute to AI evaluation methodologies, operational standards, and continuous platform improvements. Participate in Agile development processes, code reviews, and technical design discussions. Required Qualifications Strong hands-on experience with TypeScript and Node.js development. Experience building AI and cloud-native applications using AWS Bedrock. Strong expertise with AWS Cloud Development Kit (CDK). Experience developing Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) solutions and AI workflows. Experience building scalable APIs, backend services, and reusable platform components. Strong understanding of cloud-native architecture, distributed systems, and secure AI engineering practices. Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC), CI/CD, and cloud automation. Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and collaboration abilities. Experience working within Agile software development environments. Preferred Qualifications Experience designing enterprise AI governance frameworks, guardrails, and evaluation practices. Familiarity with prompt engineering, AI orchestration, and LLM integration patterns. Experience developing reusable AI templates, standards, and platform accelerators. Knowledge of AI security, scalability, and operational best practices within cloud environments.
