Location:

Phoenix, AZ / Portland, OR / Cincinnati, OH (remote/local within one of these markets) CBTS is seeking an AI Engineer to lead the conversion of existing TeamCity CI pipelines to GitHub Actions, while working alongside a three-person DevOps team supporting the broader build/release environment. This role is focused specifically on the migration effort rather than general day-to-day pipeline operations. Responsibilities Assess existing TeamCity CI configurations, build steps, and dependencies Design and execute a migration plan converting TeamCity pipelines to GitHub Actions Apply AI-assisted tooling/approaches to accelerate pipeline analysis, conversion, and validation where applicable Validate converted pipelines for functional parity with existing TeamCity builds Partner with the DevOps team to hand off converted pipelines into ongoing GitHub Actions/Octopus Deploy operations Document the migration approach, mapping decisions, and any manual conversion steps for future reference Identify and flag edge cases or legacy TeamCity configurations that require custom handling

Requirements:

Proven experience migrating CI/CD platforms, ideally including TeamCity-to-GitHub Actions conversions specifically Strong working knowledge of GitHub Actions pipeline authoring and architecture Familiarity with TeamCity build configuration concepts (build steps, triggers, dependencies, artifacts) Experience applying AI-assisted development or automation tooling to technical migration/conversion work Ability to work independently on a scoped technical initiative with clear deliverables

Preferred:
