Job Description

Vaco by Highspring has partnered with our client who is seeking an AI Security & Governance Engineer to serve as the technical authority on the secure deployment, configuration, and lifecycle management of enterprise generative AI platforms. This role will oversee security and governance for tools such as Anthropic Claude Enterprise, Microsoft 365 Copilot, and ChatGPT Enterprise.

Boston (3 days onsite, 2 days remote) Immediate need Contract to
Perm Pay-:
$75/hour Own security and governance for enterprise AI platforms (e.g., ChatGPT Enterprise, Claude Enterprise, Microsoft 365 Copilot) Administer AI tools including access controls, SSO (SCIM/SAML), provisioning, and role-based permissions Evaluate and approve AI features, agents, and integrations against security and data governance standards Define and enforce policies for AI connectors, APIs, and third-party integrations using least-privilege principles Design security controls for agentic AI workflows, automation pipelines, and enterprise system integrations Identify and mitigate AI-specific risks (e.g., prompt injection, data leakage, unauthorized automation) Implement monitoring and logging of AI activity; integrate with SIEM tools for detection and incident response Lead AI vendor risk assessments and ensure compliance with frameworks (e.g., GDPR, SOC 2, CCPA) Develop and maintain AI governance policies, acceptable use standards, and security best practices Partner cross-functionally to review AI use cases, support audits, and provide security guidance on new initiatives Determining compensation for this role (and others) at Vaco/Highspring depends upon a wide array of factors including but not limited to the individual's skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, office location and other geographic considerations, as well as other business and organizational needs. With that said, as required by local law in geographies that require salary range disclosure, Vaco/Highspring notes the salary range for the role is noted in this job posting. The individual may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses, and can participate in medical, dental, and vision benefits as well as the company's 401(k) retirement plan.
