About the Role The AI/ML Engineer Intern role provides students with the opportunity to apply machine learning and artificial intelligence concepts to real-world engineering challenges. Working alongside experienced engineers and researchers, you will contribute to the development, evaluation, and optimization of AI/ML solutions while gaining hands-on experience with modern tools, frameworks, and technologies. Key Responsibilities Assist in developing, training, and evaluating machine learning and deep learning models. Support data preparation, analysis, and model performance assessment activities. Contribute to AI/ML research, experimentation, and proof-of-concept projects. Help optimize and deploy machine learning models for efficiency and scalability. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop AI-driven solutions. Document technical findings, methodologies, and project outcomes. Must-Have Skills Knowledge of machine learning and deep learning fundamentals. Proficiency in Python programming. Familiarity with machine learning frameworks such as PyTorch or TensorFlow. Understanding of data structures, algorithms, and software development principles. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Preferred Education and Experience Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, or a related field. Academic, research, or project experience involving AI, machine learning, deep learning, or data analytics. Exposure to model optimization, edge AI, computer vision, signal processing, or related technologies is a plus. Familiarity with tools such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, CUDA, C/C++, or similar development frameworks.
