Based out of Roseland, NJ and Alpharetta, GA, they are looking to hire a Lead MLSecOps Security Engineer on a contract basis. This is an opportunity to work at the intersection of software engineering, artificial intelligence and cybersecurity , helping establish how AI coding agents, autonomous workflows and machine learning systems are securely developed and deployed. The ideal candidate enjoys remaining hands-on with Python and AI/ML technology while tackling emerging security challenges involving Agentic AI, LLMs, model security and AI-assisted software development.

Contract Duration:

9-12 month Contract to Hire Required Skills & Experience 8+ years of IT or cybersecurity experience 5+ years of hands-on software engineering experience Strong Python/backend application development Hands-on AI/ML and MLOps experience Experience with AI coding agents such as GitHub Copilot, Microsoft Copilot, Cursor, Claude Code, Windsurf or similar Understanding of Agentic AI, autonomous workflows and RAG Strong application and AI/ML security knowledge Knowledge of OWASP AI/ML and LLM vulnerabilities MLOps pipelines and model deployment experience CI/CD automation and security integration SQL/database and data-system familiarity Understanding of cloud and container security Strong communication and problem-solving skills Desired Skills & Experience MLflow, Kubeflow or SageMaker Databricks AI Security Posture Management (AI-SPM) AI/ML model scanning and vulnerability assessment Java, JavaScript, C#, .NET or Go RESTful web services Microservices architecture Model formats including pickle, TensorFlow and safetensors CEH, CISSP, CSSLP, GCIA, GPEN or GWAPT What You Will Be Doing Tech Breakdown Python / Backend Engineering AI/ML and MLOps Agentic AI / AI Coding Agents Gen
