full-time Software Engineer - AI/Cloud Scottsdale, AZ (Hybrid) Contract-to-hire This role is not eligible for sponsorship We are looking for a Software Engineer -AI Transformation to join our technology team and help accelerate software development through Generative AI, cloud technologies, automation, and modern engineering practices. About the Role The ideal candidate is a strong software engineer with experience in Java, Python, and/or JavaScript, AWS, and CI/CD, who is also passionate about using AI tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, Microsoft Copilot, GitHub Copilot, Power Automate, or similar technologies. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys learning new technologies and finding practical ways to use AI to improve development speed, quality, and overall team capabilities. Responsibilities Develop, enhance, and maintain enterprise software applications using Java, Python, and/or JavaScript. Leverage Generative AI and AI-assisted development tools to improve coding, testing, debugging, documentation, and productivity. Work with AI tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, Microsoft Copilot, GitHub Copilot, Power Automate, or similar platforms. Design and develop solutions using AWS cloud technologies. Build, maintain, and improve CI/CD pipelines using Harness or comparable platforms. Participate throughout the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC), from design and development through testing and deployment. Apply Agile development practices and contribute to continuous improvement. Follow software engineering best practices, including coding standards, source control, code reviews, automated testing, and build processes. Work with object-oriented programming concepts and service-oriented architectures. Collaborate with technical leaders, product owners, developers, and business stakeholders. Identify opportunities to use AI and automation to increase development efficiency and business capabilities. Stay current with emerging AI technologies and quickly apply relevant tools and techniques. Troubleshoot technical issues and contribute to high-quality, scalable solutions.

Qualifications:

Strong experience in software development/engineering. Hands-on experience with Java, Python, and/or JavaScript. Experience with AWS and cloud-based application development. Experience with Harness or another CI/CD platform, such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD, or Azure DevOps. Strong understanding of SDLC and Agile methodologies. Knowledge of object-oriented programming and Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA). Experience with source control, code reviews, build processes, and software testing. Experience using AI-powered tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, Microsoft 365 Copilot, GitHub Copilot, Power Automate, or similar technologies. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Excellent interpersonal and collaboration skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Office. Preferred Skills Experience with AI-DLC / AI-driven development lifecycle. Experience using Generative AI to accelerate software development. Experience building AI-powered automation or productivity solutions. Experience with AWS cloud-native architectures, APIs, or microservices. Experience with Power Automate or similar workflow automation platforms. Experience working in large-scale enterprise technology environments.
