Dell USA L.P. seeks a Consultant, Machine Learning Engineer in Round Rock, TX (can work remotely) to engineer end-to-end, performant and scalable solutions using techniques from machine learning, optimization, software engineering, and data engineering. Develop high availability and highly scalable APIs with low latency. Work on orchestration of Machine Learning workflows to create end-to-end automated pipelines. Apply advanced machine learning techniques to solve real world problems with business insights based on large-scale data.
Requirements:
Bachelors degree in Electronic Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, Mathematics, Statistics, or related field plus eight (8) years of experience in Machine Learning/Data Science Engineering, Software Engineering, IT Analysis, or related occupation. Alternatively, a Masters degree in Electronic Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, Mathematics, Statistics, or related field plus six (6) years of experience in Machine Learning/Data Science Engineering, Software Engineering, IT Analysis, or related occupation.
Experience must include:
Analytics, Machine Learning, and Software Engineering; Python, SQL, Java, apply machine learning, data modeling, data processing and ingestion techniques to create deployable solutions on large-scale data; Code optimization, model and system validation, and model governance; Developing end-to-end solutions and automated pipelines; Relational databases (e.g. SQL Server or any other based on the SQL or T-SQL query language), NoSQL databases (e.g. Mongo DB, Cassandra or any other NoSQL type platform), and Cloud solution platforms (Microsoft Azure or Amazon Web Services (AWS)); Big data technologies including Spark, Kafka Messaging, and Storm; OCR and data extraction tools, including some combination of AWS Textract, Abby OCR, and/or Open CV; Implementing production grade solutions to handle high volume, high velocity data traffic and scaling for low-latency environments; Model and API governance and monitoring for large-scale business use cases with low-latency requirements; Code optimization for existing data streams, machine learning models, and APIs using software engineering and experimental design; and containerization technologies, including Docker and Kubernetes.
