As an Applied AI Engineer, you will play a central role in building our next-generation product. The product helps customers transform large volumes of unstructured data into accurate, structured outputs through continuously improving AI harnesses and customized asynchronous inference. What You'll Do Build and rapidly iterate on prototypes, turning promising ideas into reliable, production-ready product capabilities. Play a key role in developing the product's core components, including self-improving AI harnesses and a customized asynchronous inference stack. Develop evaluations that measure quality, identify failures, and guide improvements to data, prompts, models, and workflows. Translate requirements across different customer use cases into reusable capabilities for a scalable product. Good candidates for this role should be technical generalists who learn quickly, keep up with advances in AI, and are highly self-directed. You should be comfortable navigating ambiguity and turning ideas into working products. Experience with Any of the Following Is a Bonus Using large language models to transform large volumes of unstructured data into reliable structured data. Designing model evaluations, benchmarks, or automated graders. Post-training, fine-tuning, preference optimization, or synthetic data. Building continuously improving AI harnesses.
