Type:
full-time Optomi, in partnership with a leading telecommunications company, is looking for an AI Engineer to support their infrastructure and AI initiatives.
Position Summary:
We are seeking AI Engineers who can apply AI to infrastructure and software engineering workflows. The primary focus is on developing AI-powered tools, agents, and services that understand infrastructure context and automate or assist with infrastructure-related analysis and development. This role involves building AI tools that analyze existing infrastructure, simulate traffic/resource requirements, and generate actionable recommendations. What the right candidate will enjoy: Working on cutting-edge AI projects in a dynamic telecommunications environment. Collaborating with a team of infrastructure engineers who have developed AI expertise. Opportunities for contract-to-hire with potential full-time conversion. What type of experience does the right candidate have: Experience with agent creation and AI agents/skills. Proficiency in prompt engineering and context generation. Understanding of model selection and AI tooling. Familiarity with infrastructure technologies such as Terraform, Kubernetes, AWS, and Azure. What the responsibilities are of the right candidate: Develop AI-powered tools that understand and automate infrastructure analysis. Integrate AI solutions into existing infrastructure workflows. Conduct AI testing and develop test-data. Securely integrate AI into enterprise environments, addressing potential vulnerabilities.
