Job Description

MANAGING CONSULTANT
(AI
GOVERNANCE
)WHO WE AREEverforth Apex Systems is a leading global technology and digital engineering firm dedicated to helping organizations adapt, innovate, and thrive in a world of constant change. Leveraging deep industry insights and proven expertise, we deliver end-to-end solutions that accelerate time-to-value and realize our clients' digital visions across commercial and federal sectors.

Our comprehensive solution portfolio spans AI & data, cloud and infrastructure, digital engineering, customer experience, cybersecurity, enterprise platforms, application development, strategy, transformation, and managed services. Powered by proprietary assets, accelerators, and strong alliances with cutting-edge technology partners—including Adobe, AWS, Microsoft, Salesforce, and more—we turn complexity into progress and measurable business outcomes.

With a presence in over 70 markets across North America, Europe, and India, Everforth Apex Systems innovates alongside our customers, building and deploying tailored artificial intelligence solutions to enhance business value and improve customer experiences. As part of the commercial segment of Everforth, we are committed to driving the next wave of global IT services and digital transformation.

JOB DESCRIPTIONEverforth Apex Systems seeks an experienced AI Governance and Responsible AI professional with strong consultative skills for the role of Managing Consultant in our AI Practice. This strategic position involves collaborating with internal and client teams to guide the design, implementation, and scaling of our Regulatory Governance and Responsible AI services. The consultant will also support sales, solution management, and account teams in scoping new AI Governance opportunities, and will help clients in regulated and high-risk industries transition AI programs safely and defensibly from pilot to production.

As a consulting position, the work location for this role varies according to client needs. Accordingly, this is not a remote position. While some assignments may be performed largely remotely, other assignments require fully on-site work, hybrid work, and/or occasional travel.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Design and build AI Governance and Responsible AI service offerings, frameworks, and methodologies
  • Develop reusable assets: risk and control frameworks, evaluation/monitoring frameworks, governance playbooks, delivery templates, and audit-ready evidence packages
  • Embed technical controls (risk assessments, model/system documentation, monitoring, evaluation gates) into AI delivery methodology
  • Support delivery teams in applying governance standards consistently across AI engagements
  • Define ownership models, routines, and checkpoints that help clients move AI programs safely from pilot to production
  • Support pursuit efforts, proposal development, and client pitches with governance-specific positioning and evidence
  • Advise clients in regulated or high-risk industries on AI governance requirements, regulatory exposure, and control maturity
  • Represent the firm's AI Governance point of view in client conversations, thought leadership, and market-facing materials
  • Serve as a key point of expertise for AI Regulatory and Responsible AI matters, partnering with sales, delivery, security, platform, and advisory teams to help align governance practices
JOB REQUIREMENTS
  • 7+ years of consulting or advisory experience, with meaningful focus on AI/technology risk, governance, or regulatory compliance
  • Working knowledge of AI governance and Responsible AI frameworks (e.
g., NIST
AI RMF, ISO/IEC 42001, EU AI
Act, GDPR) and how they apply to enterprise AI programs
  • Demonstrated experience building or scaling a consulting offering — not just delivering existing ones
  • Experience working with clients in regulated or high-risk industries (financial services, healthcare, insurance, critical infrastructure, or similar)
  • Ability to translate regulatory and risk concepts into technical controls, delivery standards, and client-facing deliverables
  • Strong business development instincts: comfortable supporting proposals, pursuits, and pipeline conversations
  • Experience working cross-functionally across sales, delivery, security, and technical teams
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including experience producing client-facing thought leadership or proposal content
  • Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree or relevant certification (e.g., CIPP/AI, AI governance certification) a plus
  • Prior experience with production AI/ML systems, MLOps, or AI platform environments strongly preferred
