Job Description

Under general supervision, responsible for providing statistical support for all research programs, including development of study design, selection of appropriate statistical methods, sample size calculations, and conducting statistical analysis and interpretation on data collected. Experience in clinical research methods and study design. Experience in statistical analysis. Experience with and demonstrated ability to perform statistical analysis with software. Expertise in data manipulation and statistical methodology. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Effective oral and written communication of statistical concepts and results.
Education:
Master's degree in a recognized field of science or learning which is directly related to the duties of the position is required.
Experience:
Three (3) years of experience is required. Designs and conducts analysis of clinical trials under the direction of faculty and study staff. Responsible for programming data related to study monitoring and analysis. Selects data samples, prepares questionnaires, and analyzes collected information according to established statistical methods. Provides statistical, programming development and produces data validations, query reports, and study reports for clinical studies (multilevel, multisite, nested design). Develops charts and graphs to display results; may assist in writing research papers for publication. Maintains computer software and hardware. Performs all other duties as assigned.
