Job Description:

Business Intelligence Analyst LHH is partnering with a well?established, data?driven organization space to support the addition of a Business Intelligence Analyst. This is a 12?month, contract opportunity with the potential for extension based on business needs and project continuity. This role sits within a centralized Business Intelligence function and supports enterprise reporting, analytics, and data modernization initiatives that span Finance, Operations, IT, and other key business groups. About the Opportunity This Business Intelligence Analyst will work closely with BI leadership and internal stakeholders to turn complex data into clear, actionable insights. The role blends hands?on SQL analysis, dashboard/reporting development, and cross?functional collaboration, while also supporting a broader initiative to modernize the organization's data architecture. Responsibilities Write, review, and optimize SQL queries and stored procedures to support reporting and analytics needs Build and maintain dashboards and reports using SQL, Excel, and Tableau Work with internal stakeholders to understand business questions and help define what data is actually needed (often translating vague requests into clear reporting solutions) Support ongoing data architecture modernization initiatives, including reconfiguring SQL logic as source systems and structures evolve Perform ad?hoc analysis and modeling to support leadership and department?level decision making Partner with data architecture and IT teams to ensure data reliability, accuracy, and performance Identify opportunities to automate manual reporting and improve efficiency Document reporting logic, processes, and standards to support long?term scalability This role is not purely a dashboard?builder and not a finance or accounting position - it's a hands?on BI role that supports business decision?making across multiple departments. Key Skills & Experience Bachelors Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or similar field Minimum of 2+ years of experience Strong working knowledge of Microsoft SQL (writing, reading, and understanding complex queries and stored procedures) Intermediate experience with Excel for analysis and reporting Exposure to Tableau (dashboard development experience; expert?level not required) Experience supporting reporting in regulated or data?sensitive environments Exposure to sprint?based or project?managed analytics work (Microsoft?based tools a plus) Benefit offerings available for our associates include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, additional voluntary benefits, EAP program, commuter benefits and a 401K plan.
