This Pigment Consultant position will lead the design, administration, and ongoing enhancement of the Pigment platform while partnering with business and technical teams to deliver scalable planning solutions. The Pigment Consultant role is well suited for someone who combines hands-on model building expertise with strategic thinking, strong communication skills, and a passion for improving forecasting, reporting, and decision support through modern planning technology.
Responsibilities:
Pigment Consultant will lead administration and day-to-day ownership of the Pigment environment to maintain stability, scalability, and strong system performance. Gather input from cross-functional stakeholders and convert planning needs into well-structured technical solutions that support future business objectives. Build and enhance planning models, dashboards, workflows, and connected processes that enable reliable forecasting and enterprise reporting. Coordinate with data engineering teams to support consistent two-way data integration between Pigment and the organization's data warehouse. Improve platform usability, model efficiency, and reporting effectiveness to encourage broader adoption across finance, operations, and service-oriented teams. Serve as a hands-on model and report developer while guiding colleagues on best practices for building within the platform. Identify opportunities to apply AI-driven capabilities that improve forecast accuracy, automate manual work, and generate more actionable insights. Assess emerging planning technologies and intelligent automation features to strengthen data-informed decision-making across the business. Support enterprise planning initiatives by aligning system design with changing organizational priorities, operational complexity, and long-term growth plans. At least 3 years of relevant experience in ERP, CRM, or enterprise planning environments, including recent hands-on work with platform configuration or development. Minimum of 2 years of practical Pigment experience in a current or recent role, with strong model-building and system development capabilities. Demonstrated background in implementation work and post-deployment support, with the ability to take long-term ownership of a planning platform. Experience translating business requirements into technical solutions within cross-functional environments. Working knowledge of enterprise planning use cases across FP& A, operations, or service-focused settings. Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts in a clear, business-focused manner. Hands-on familiarity with tools and practices such as API development, configuration management, business requirements documentation, or client-side scripting. Self-directed and accountable approach with a continuous improvement mindset and interest in innovation, including AI-enabled planning capabilities.
