Job responsibilities and duties include:

Lead SAP migration initiatives, including migration from SAP on Microsoft SQL Server (MSSQL) to SAP on HANA platforms. Perform pre-migration activities for

transformation projects, including analysis of SAP Readiness Check reports, Custom Code scans, and Simplification Item evaluations to ensure ECC/Suite on HANA systems are fully prepared for S/4HANA conversion. Review and remediate ABAP custom code and objects for HANA compatibility, including CDS views, AMDPs, stored procedures, SQL pushdown techniques, and

adjustments. Develop and maintain OData services, REST APIs, and SAP Fiori/UI5 applications integrated with SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) and S/4HANA environments. Execute SAP Software Update Manager (SUM) with Database Migration Option (DMO) activities during migration cycles, including pre-check validations, shadow instance configuration, downtime migration execution, and post-migration system validation. performance tuning and optimization by analyzing expensive SQL statements, identifying missing indexes, resolving full table scans, and optimizing workloads using HANA Cockpit and SQL analysis tools. Provide SAP production support, troubleshooting system performance issues, ABAP dumps, Fiori application errors, backup processes, and compliance or audit-related matters. Configure, implement, and monitor Disaster Recovery (DR) solutions on Microsoft Azure Cloud Platform, including

SAP HANA

System Replication (HSR), replication monitoring, DR cluster management, and failover simulations. Develop and manage cloud automation and migration solutions using Terraform, Python, and PowerShell, including Azure Site Recovery (ASR) replication, failover testing, DNS updates, monitoring configuration, backup scheduling, and log forwarding. Implement and support SAP SLT and BODS data integration solutions, including replication configuration, latency monitoring, ETL job development, and data flow optimization. Contribute to related SAP technical initiatives, including Rev-Trac upgrades, SAP data archiving projects, and SAML configuration and integration with Microsoft Entra ID for secure authentication. This position will not supervise the work of other personnel.

Minimum Requirements:

Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems or any related Engineering or IT field of study and at least five (5) years of post-degree, progressively responsible experience in any related position(s) in which the required experience was gained. The employer will accept a 3 or 4 year bachelors degree. The employer will accept a foreign degree. Additionally, qualified applicants must also have demonstrated proficiency, skill, experience, and/or knowledge with the following: SAP implementation and enterprise SAP environments, including SAP Integration Suite, SAP Business Technology Platform, SAP BTP Services, and BTP architecture. SAP S/4HANA

system conversions (ECC to S/4HANA). SAP Data Archiving, including hands-on integration with OpenText solutions. Implementing and supporting SAP Change Request Management (ChaRM). Planning and executing SAP system migrations to AWS and Azure cloud platforms. SAP Fiori development and implementation. No travel. No WFH. Job duties are project-based and performed on long-term assignments at various unanticipated client sites within the U.S. which may require relocation at the end of each project.
