The ERP Analyst II role is a mid-level business/systems analyst position supporting the University's ERP system. This position is responsible for research, analysis, and providing operational and project support for the complex and highly customized Human Resources and Payroll systems. Responsibilities include serving as primary analyst support for the areas of Benefits, Benefits Administration, Security role assignments, and EOCE Reporting. Provides back-up support for multiple areas not limited to Time & Labor, Time Integration, Leave Accruals, ePerformance, Mass Appointments, OBI Reporting, Commitment Accounting, and others as necessary. Provides primary business / systems analyst support and maintenance for the Benefits, Benefits Administration, and EEO Reporting modules within HR and Payroll systems. Conducts research and analysis to resolve issues and makes recommendations for configuration changes as necessary. Leads the evaluation, testing, troubleshooting, and deployment of changes to production. Supports query and ad hoc reporting needs. Acts as back-up support to multiple areas; not limited to Time & Labor, Time Integration and Leave Accruals, ePerformance, Mass Appointments, OBI Reporting, and Commitment Accounting. Acts as lead HR analyst to work with third-party vendors and integration software for file transfers. Offers testing and documentation for third-party integrations. Shares the lead in conducting research and analysis to resolve issues and recommend program configuration changes to the relevant modules as necessary. Provides backup support for other HR and Payroll modules. Responsible for assisting in developing, planning and organizing procedures and testing scenarios to ensure the integrity of the HR and payroll systems. Provides suggestions for improvements/enhancements to the existing processes and associated workflows. Responsibilities include interpreting departmental rules and policies related to ERP information systems and university administrative functions. Evaluates and makes recommendations for the management of the systems and writes queries to support data interpretation. Acts as the lead business/systems analyst within the Enterprise Systems & Services HR team for Disaster Recovery. Coordinate with all other team members to collect, draft, and maintain testing scenarios within Disaster Recovery (DR), help manage and distribute testing scenarios when needed for DR testing. Performs duties in compliance with ITS policies, guidelines, and processes pertaining to support requests, work orders, project management, change management, and incident management. Appropriately utilizes associated tools in accordance with ITS standards. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, MIS, or other appropriate degree and one year experience or a high school diploma or equivalent and five years of experience. (
Note:
combination of post high school education and experience equal to five years.) Preferred Qualifications SQL or query experience preferred, including writing and modifying queries to support reporting, analysis, and data validation. Responsibilities include researching and resolving HR and Payroll system issues, analyzing data through queries and reports, collaborating with campus partners, testing system changes and vendor integrations, maintaining documentation, and reviewing incoming support requests. What can I expect in the first 60-90 days? First 30 Days -
Foundation:
Complete onboarding and ERP orientation, gain familiarity with HR and payroll systems and support processes, shadow team members on issue research, testing, and production support, and begin reviewing existing documentation and queries. Days 31-60 -
Active Contribution:
Begin independently resolving lower-complexity issues, executing testing for system changes or integrations, supporting reporting through queries, updating documentation, and providing backup support as needed. Days 61-90 -

Serve as a primary analyst by independently analyzing issues, leading testing and validation efforts, supporting vendor integrations, and contributing confidently to ongoing HR Application Services operations.
