We are seeking an experienced SAP PP/QM
Lead & Manufacturing Process Owner to drive and optimize the Plan-to-Produce lifecycle for a leading manufacturing organization. In this high-impact contract role, you will own the SAP Production Planning (PP) and Quality Management (QM) domains, ensuring the system accurately supports how materials are transformed into finished goods while maintaining strict quality standards. You will work at the intersection of operations, supply chain, quality, and IT, ensuring seamless execution from planning through production and inspection. This is an opportunity to play a key role in a large-scale SAP/S4HANA
manufacturing environment, influencing system design, master data governance, and MES integration. Key Job Responsibilities Production Planning (PP) Domain Own SAP PP configuration, including Bills of Materials (BOM), routings, work centers, production orders, process orders (PP-PI), and capacity planning Govern production master data to ensure accuracy and alignment with real-world operations Manage MRP integration with Supply Chain, ensuring reliable demand signals and planned order execution Oversee shop floor control processes including order release, confirmations, goods issue, and goods receipt Quality Management (QM) Domain Own SAP QM configuration, including inspection plans, inspection lots (incoming, in-process, final), usage decisions, and notifications Manage Certificate of Analysis (CoA) processes and quality documentation Ensure adherence to quarantine and blocked stock processes for non-conforming materials Support customer complaints and supplier non-conformance processes through SAP QM workflows Integration & Systems Collaboration Coordinate integration between SAP and Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES), ensuring accurate data exchange Support and validate interface performance using IDocs, BAPIs, and APIs Collaborate cross-functionally with Operations, Supply Chain, and Quality teams Testing & Continuous Improvement Review SAP system updates and assess impact on PP and QM processes Design and execute UAT scenarios (MRP runs, production execution, goods movements, quality inspections) Support MES integration testing to ensure system reliability and accuracy Qualifications Education & Experience Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, or related field 7-10 years of combined manufacturing operations and SAP PP/QM
experience Minimum 4 years of hands-on SAP functional configuration experience Direct experience in a manufacturing environment (shop floor or production planning required) Skills & Expertise Deep SAP PP expertise: BOMs, routings, work centers, MRP, production/process orders, capacity planning Strong SAP QM expertise: inspection plans, inspection lots, usage decisions, notifications, and certificate management Experience in discrete, process (PP-PI), or repetitive manufacturing environments Knowledge of S/4HANA functionality (MRP Live, embedded analytics) Understanding of MES integration and data exchange technologies Strong problem-solving skills and ability to bridge business and technical requirements Diverse Experiences Blistex is committed to a diverse and inclusive workforce.
