The primary focus of the Business Intelligence Analyst is to transform data into actionable insights that drive business value. This role involves collecting, analyzing, and interpreting data from multiple sources to support informed decision making and strategic planning.
Responsibilities:
Daily responsibilities consist of: Gather, process, and analyze data from diverse sources to identify trends, patterns, and correlations that support business growth initiatives. Develop and maintain robust data models, reports, and dashboards using Business Intelligence (BI) tools. These will provide actionable insights for our business stakeholders. Collaborate with stakeholders to monitor and evaluate key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics. Your analysis will help assess and improve business performance. Create and deliver regular reports that communicate insights and drive action. These reports may include monthly onboarding, channel and product scorecards, lending dashboards, competitor analysis, new market research, and more. Develop visualizations that effectively communicate findings, tell stories, and support the decision-making process. Analyze research data and report on trends or facts relevant to the Credit Union. This may include closed account trends, competitor pricing, service scores, and other pertinent data. Ensure the accuracy, integrity, and security of data through effective data governance practices. Identify, pilot, and document possible AI use cases to improve data analysis and reporting workflows while adhering to data governance and security standards. Qualifications:
What we are looking for: A college degree, completion of a specialized course of study at a business or trade school or completion of a specialized and extensive in-house training program Proficiency in building and editing Tableau dashboards Basic SQL understanding and writing Experience working in Snowflake (preferred but not required)
