Job Description
SMX is seeking accomplished Senior Business Analysts to collect, document, and analyze business requirements and configure Oracle E-Business Suite ( EBS ) solutions. Key responsibilities include gathering requirements, designing and implementing system solutions, providing functional support, performing testing, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to improve efficiency and align the system with business objectives. This role requires a clearance and is a remote with some travel required.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
+ Requirements analysis: Work with business stakeholders to gather and document requirements for new features, enhancements, and configurations in Oracle EBS .
+ Solution design: Translate business needs into functional specifications and design system solutions that leverage Oracle EBS functionality.
+ Configuration and implementation: Configure and set up Oracle EBS modules to meet business requirements and support projects through to production. +
Testing:
Create test plans, scripts, and cases, and perform functional testing and assist in user acceptance testing ( UAT ).
Functional support:
Provide ongoing support to end-users, troubleshoot issues, analyze problems, and coordinate resolutions with technical teams. +
Collaboration:
Act as a bridge between business units and technical teams, ensuring clear communication and successful integration of solutions.
+ Process improvement: Analyze existing business processes and identify opportunities for improvement using Oracle EBS .
+ Documentation and training: Develop system and user documentation and deliver training to help users adopt new functionalities.
Required Skills & Experience:
+ Active clearance or public trust (sponsor dependent)
+ Experience in iProcurement, Purchasing, Contract LifeCyle Management ( CLM )
+ Deep understanding accounting and specifically line of accounting ( LOA ) configuration
+ Application enablement skills Familiarity with Oracle 12.2.x application schema and able to create queriesStrong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
+ Ability to translate business needs into technical requirements.
+ Experience with requirements gathering, testing, and solution design.
+ Bachelor's degree in business, IT, or a related field. Directly related postgraduate study may be substituted for experience at the rate of three credit hours for three months of experience up to 36 credit hours.
+ Minimum of 10 years' experience.
