  • April 8, 2026 Job Description Join Catholic Charities in the important IT role of Senior Data & Business Intelligence Analyst.
This position is full time, on-site at our St. Cloud, MN office. What you will do The Senior Data & Business Intelligence Analyst is responsible for delivering accurate, timely, and actionable analytics that support organizational decision-making, compliance, and operational effectiveness. This role partners with stakeholders across the organization to define metrics, aggregate data from multiple systems, and translate complex information into meaningful reports and dashboards. This position focuses on data analytics, reporting, and business intelligence. The Analyst serves as the organization's senior individual contributor for enterprise reporting solutions and analytics enablement. Key Responsibilities Data Analytics & Insights
  • Translate business, programmatic, financial, and compliance questions into analytical solutions.
  • Aggregate, analyze, and reconcile data across multiple platforms and data sources.
  • Identify trends, variances, anomalies, and performance indicators to support decision-making.
  • Provide clear interpretation and explanation of analytical results to technical and non-technical audiences. Reporting & Business Intelligence
  • Design, build, and maintain enterprise reports and dashboards.
  • Develop complex SQL queries, views, and reporting datasets.
  • Create standardized, repeatable reporting solutions for leadership, grants, audits, and regulatory reporting.
  • Monitor and optimize report performance, refresh schedules, and data accuracy. Data Quality, Governance & Platform Support
  • Ensure data accuracy, consistency, validation, and audit-readiness across reporting solutions.
  • Manage report security, permissions, and access controls.
  • Maintain documentation for data definitions, report logic, and KPI standards.
  • Support data governance efforts through standardization and quality improvement. Stakeholder Partnership & Enablement
  • Collaborate with departments to define KPIs, metrics, and reporting requirements.
  • Train staff on dashboards, reports, and interpretation of data.
  • Provide user support, documentation, and self-service guidance. Other Duties
  • Provide backup analytics and reporting support within the IT team.
  • Participate in cross-functional initiatives and continuous improvement efforts.
What we're looking for ( Required Qualifications)
Education :
Bachelor's degree in Data Analytics, Information Systems, Business, or a related field or equivalent experience.
Experience :
5+ years of professional experience in data analysis, reporting, or business intelligence. Experience in healthcare, human services, or other regulated environments preferred.
Skills & Competencies :
  • Advanced SQL querying and analysis
  • Strong experience with enterprise reporting and BI tools, including: o Pentaho Reporting o SSRS
  • Multi-system data aggregation and reconciliation
  • Data validation, audit support, and quality assurance
  • Ability to translate business needs into analytical outputs
  • Strong communication and documentation skills
  • Excellent organization, prioritization, and customer service skills
  • High attention to detail and commitment to data integrity
  • Analytical thinking and problem-solving
  • Business partnership and stakeholder communication
  • Data storytelling and insight delivery
