Onsite Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced SAP Supply Chain Consultant to support, implement, and optimize SAP supply chain solutions within a healthcare or hospital environment. The consultant will work closely with Supply Chain, Procurement, Materials Management, Finance, Clinical Operations, Pharmacy, IT, and other business stakeholders to improve supply chain processes and ensure the effective use of SAP systems. The ideal candidate will have strong functional knowledge of SAP Supply Chain and Materials Management (MM) , experience with procurement and inventory processes, and an understanding of the unique operational requirements of hospitals and healthcare organizations. Key Responsibilities Analyze, design, configure, implement, and support SAP Supply Chain solutions for healthcare and hospital operations. Provide functional expertise in SAP modules and processes, including: SAP Materials Management (MM) Procurement and Purchasing Inventory Management Warehouse Management Material Requirements Planning (MRP) Vendor Management Logistics and Supply Chain Planning Invoice and Goods Receipt Processing Stock Transfers and Inventory Movements Gather business requirements from Supply Chain, Procurement, Finance, Clinical Operations, Pharmacy, and other stakeholders. Translate business requirements into SAP functional specifications and scalable solutions. Configure SAP applications and support unit, integration, regression, and user acceptance testing. Troubleshoot SAP production issues and perform root-cause analysis. Support procurement processes including purchase requisitions, purchase orders, goods receipts, invoice verification, and vendor-related activities. Support inventory management across hospitals, clinics, warehouses, operating rooms, pharmacies, and other healthcare facilities. Assist with inventory optimization, replenishment, demand planning, and materials availability. Support SAP integrations with third-party procurement, inventory, pharmacy, clinical, financial, and healthcare applications. Collaborate with technical teams on interfaces, reports, workflows, forms, enhancements, and integrations. Participate in SAP implementations, upgrades, system conversions, enhancements, and optimization projects. Support data migration, master-data conversion, cleansing, validation, and reconciliation activities. Develop functional specifications, process documentation, test scripts, training materials, and user documentation. Provide training and knowledge transfer to Supply Chain and business users. Identify opportunities to automate processes, reduce costs, improve inventory accuracy, and increase operational efficiency.
Healthcare / Hospital
Responsibilities Support supply chain operations across hospitals, medical centers, clinics, ambulatory facilities, and other healthcare locations. Support procurement and inventory processes for medical supplies, surgical supplies, pharmaceuticals, equipment, implants, consumables, and other healthcare materials . Work with clinical departments, operating rooms, pharmacy, nursing, laboratory, and other departments to understand supply requirements. Support inventory visibility and availability while helping minimize stockouts, excess inventory, expiration, and waste. Support tracking and management of materials across multiple facilities, warehouses, departments, and storage locations. Assist with supply chain processes related to patient-care operations while maintaining appropriate financial and operational controls.
