SAP QM Consultant Pennsylvania, Canonsburg 09/14/2026 Contract Active
Job Summary
The SAP QM Consultant will support Manufacturing and Quality workstreams by standardizing Usage Decision (UD) codes, strengthening batch release and stock control processes, enabling change log functionality, and improving quality compliance across manufacturing operations. The role will focus on stabilizing and enhancing SAP QM processes related to batch transfers, shipping, inventory governance, and Usage Decision validation while developing comprehensive process documentation to support governance, training, and operational excellence. Key Responsibilities
- Standardize Usage Decision (UD) codes and align related stock control processes across plants and business units to improve consistency and inventory accuracy.
- Identify, enable, and validate change log functionality within Plant Maintenance and other relevant workstreams to meet quality and compliance requirements.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation and procedures for GEP SAP processes within Manufacturing and Quality workstreams.
- Stabilize and enhance UD code validation functionality for batches during interplant transfer and release processes.
- Implement system controls to ensure only batches with approved and released UD status are eligible for shipment.
- Enhance and stabilize UD code validation checks across shipping and transfer processes to prevent movement of unreleased, rejected, or noncompliant batches.
- Strengthen quality compliance and inventory governance by enforcing shipment restrictions based on batch release status.
- Support governance, training, and operational excellence through accurate SAP process documentation. Required Qualifications
- Strong experience supporting SAP Quality Management processes within manufacturing environments.
- Experience with Usage Decision (UD) codes and related batch release and stock control processes.
- Experience supporting batch transfers, release processes, and shipping controls based on quality status.
- Experience with SAP process standardization and harmonization across plants or business units.
- Experience with quality compliance and inventory governance processes.
- Strong understanding of Manufacturing and Quality workstream processes.
- Strong documentation, analytical, troubleshooting, and stakeholder collaboration skills.
- Experience with Discrete Manufacturing, Process Manufacturing, and Repetitive Manufacturing.
