This role requires a strong blend of functional expertise (70%) and technical capabilities (30%) with deep knowledge of Oracle Manufacturing and Supply Chain modules. The consultant will work closely with business users, IT teams, and plant operations to implement, support, enhance, and optimize Oracle EBS R12 manufacturing solutions across multiple locations. The ideal candidate is hands-on, customer-focused, and capable of driving business process improvements while delivering technical solutions that align with organizational objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

Functional Responsibilities (70%)

• Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document manufacturing and supply chain requirements.
• Collaborate and follow RRX IT leads guidance and standardizations and carry out instructions, recommendations to design and guide business users.
• Configure and hands-on support Oracle EBS R12 Manufacturing modules without any assistance and own and lead related business processes.
• Lead solution design workshops and provide best practice recommendations.
• Support day-to-day manufacturing operations and resolve functional issues.
• Design and execute testing activities including unit testing, system testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
• Conduct end-user training sessions and create functional documentation.
• Partner with plant personnel and business users to drive process standardization and system adoption. Technical Responsibilities (30%)
• Support data conversion activities including data mapping, cleansing, validation, and migration.
• Work with technical teams on custom developments, interfaces, reports, and extensions.
• Prepare functional and technical specifications for development efforts.
• Assist in troubleshooting production issues involving integrations and customizations.
• Support deployment, cutover, and post-go-live stabilization activities. Required Oracle Expertise Strong hands-on experience in Oracle EBS R12 Manufacturing and Supply Chain modules, including:
• Oracle Inventory
• Bills of Material (BOM)
• Routings
• Work in Process (WIP)
• Cost Management / Costing
• Mobile Supply Chain Applications (MSCA)
• Manufacturing and Shop Floor Execution processes
• Inventory Transactions and Material Management Skills and Requirements
• 8-10 years of Oracle EBS experience with a focus on Manufacturing and Supply Chain applications.
• Minimum of 5 full life-cycle Oracle EBS implementations, including requirements gathering through go-live support.
• Strong techno-functional background with approximately 70% functional and 30% technical expertise.
• Proven experience performing Oracle application setups and configurations.
• Experience with data conversions, interfaces, customizations, and reporting solutions.
• Ability to work directly with business users and manufacturing operations teams.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
• Experience in discrete manufacturing environments.
• Knowledge of Oracle EBS integration frameworks and development tools.
• Experience supporting multi-site manufacturing organizations.
• Exposure global deployments and cross-functional supply chain processes.
• Prior experience working with manufacturing facilities in North America and Mexico.
